It’s the FESTIVE SEASON!! 🐝

It means something different to you all, but wherever we are we can all agree, it’s a magical time of the year.

Here in the south-west of Western Australia, we are not going to get snow covered trees or snowflakes falling softly outside our window.

Many Australians will celebrate Christmas keeping cool, going to the beach, playing under the sprinkler, drinking ice cold drinks instead of cozy hot chocolate and we’re wearing ugly t shirts instead of sweaters.

But here in Judys garden, even though the lawn might be turning brown, there is still wonderous magic in the air. The rhythmic sound of the cicadas, the summer-long hunt for Christmas beetles, (these are mostly only found in Australia and are so beautiful, like little shiny baubles with legs 🥰) and the pomegranate tree is flowering which means soon…..pomegranetes!

This Christmas, Judybug has made you all some little Christmas envelopes to cut out so you can put a little homemade card in, or a tiny flat gift, or write a little note to someone you love. These are so easy to make and you can also use the design as a template to draw or paint your own envelope for any time of the year.
